Monterrey Restaurant in Evans

This is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant of all time! It even surpasses the one we went to all the time back in NC.Their salsa is, by far, the best salsa we have ever eaten. We joke all the time we could go there just to eat their complementary chips and salsa by itself. We have yet to eat a dish we didn’t like... everything has been tasty, cooked well, and generous portions. The restaurants have been clean and the employees are super friendly and helpful without hovering. Glasses refilled, plates cleared, and check dropped off without making you feel like they’re rushing you out the door.A+ from us!

Nice decor, clean, organized. Good service, good food. Massive menu for all ages. Lots of parking all around building. Outdoor seating on front porch.

The combinations offer great variety at a reasonable price. The food is very good and the portions generous. This was my first time, but service was also exceptional. Outdoor seating also available for beautiful days like this.

The food was delicious and the waiter was very attentive. Ordered a lunch portion and still had food to bring home. Shared it with my son and granddaughter and they loved the food. They plan to go to eat there soon.

The food was amazing! The restaurant was super clean. A wonderful dining out experience all around.

Service is always fast and employees always friendly. Employees were wearing masks but not many customers as they entered.

The service is very fast and efficient. The food comes out hot, helpings are more than substantial, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend their churros!

The best food ever

Great food and service but the prices just went up and the tea , which has been really good in the past, is now really weak. Looks and tastes about like sweet water. Looks like they cut back on the amount of tea in the mix. Plus some of the dishes have changed and are not as good as they were. Would be good to leave them alone if you already have something good. But otherwise great!

It's Mexican food. Tastes pretty good...... Not a huge fan. I eat it because the wifey likes it. I like Italian food.

Enjoyed lunch. Plenty of spacing for covid dining. Great taco asada.

The food was fantastic. I ordered the carne asada and it came fully loaded! I came in right at 11 am and the service wasn't as great. My wife and I was the first ones to be seated and had our drinks delivered fairly quickly. We asked the waitress if we can have a few mins to see the menu(due to this being our first time in the restaurant)and we waited at least 10 minutes before another waiter took our order.We still love the food, brought it home to enjoy at a later time. I just hope the service isn't like this most of the time.

My first time at Monterey's and I Enjoyed the food, very authentic. My waiter was attentive and not over bearing . The atmosphere was relaxing. I will most definitely revisit this resturant on Sunday.

We got a REALLY big Togo order and everything was really awesome! I had a bunch of people at home, they were hungry, it was storming and ALL the food was really GREAT! Hot Fresh and perfect! AND fast they had it ready in a perfect 15mins. Again, everything was so good and We will be back!!!

Celebrated our daughters pregnancy! Waiters were on spot! Very clean establishment! Drinks were delicious and the food was genuine Mexican dishes! ALWAYS our favorite place to celebrate or just have a casual meal! We love our Evan's Monterrey's!! Ajuuuuua!!

I very much loved their food and service, excellent location right next to my house. The employees are always very kind. Highly recommended.

Had to send back two different dishes and had them removed from our check. Normally we would NEVER send back food but our nachos were in a quarter inch of soupy water cheese. The "hot" fajitas came out long before the rest of our meal without the tortillas and sides, and were cold by the time the rest of the family meal arrived. The carnitas were hard like they has been microwave reheated. Was super disappointed and will not be returning ever again. The manager was great and understood.If your going to eat there I recommend the margaritas and pastor and that alone.

They are fairly consistent with good quality food. Restrooms are clean. They have several screens around the bar & restaurant. There are 4 seater booths, 6 sweaters, bar seating, table & chairs, and outdoor seating. Given plenty of advance arrangements, you can have an office, family, bridal, or birthday party. The servers are very attentive and the cooks are very accommodating with special orders. Lunch is served til 3 on weekdays. It's a great place for couples or families to enjoy a great lunch or dinner. They have sodas, tea, & alcoholic beverages.

Food is pretty good. First time I have ever been charged $1.50 for 4oz of hot sauce at a Mexican restaurant. Kinda like getting charged for ketchup at McDonald's. I feel like it was a rip off and a cheap shot. Especially after I paid 11.50 plus tax for veggie fajitas which is almost all profit for them since there is no meat.

I was too hungry to take a picture of my food. But it was really good. And the Texas margarita was good also. The atmosphere is very relaxing. You can choose to be either outside, inside or at the bar. The service was really good. Very nice people.

Clean, quick and delicious Tex-Mex food. Never had a bad service or food experience in the several years I have eaten here.
